With a rare morning off from doggy day care, Willow and I arranged to meet friends and go for breakfast at The Country Table Cafe in Newton Abbot. A polite notice on the door let us know that dogs are welcome and are allowed to sit in the back room of the cafe.
As soon as we pulled into the driveway of Ullacombe Farm we knew that dogs would be welcome, the large sign on the main road tells you everything you need to know! Dogs are actively and warmly welcomed into the shop and cafe, with treats available for all four legged friends on the counter – it was a shame the weather was so warm, as Willow missed lounging in front of the large log burner!!
A lunch date on the patio at The Coombe Cellars, soaking up the sun, with Polly for company – just perfect! Dogs are more than welcome at The Coombe Cellars, in fact there is a big sign before you even walk through the doors letting you know dogs are welcome, and that you can sit with your dog in the bar, patio and conservatory. Upon entering the bar, there are water bowls and free treats for their furry guests.
