The Country Table Cafe – Newton Abbot

The Country Table Cafe – Newton Abbot

Everything the dogs need to know

With a rare morning off from doggy day care, Willow and I arranged to meet friends and go for breakfast at The Country Table Cafe in Newton Abbot. A polite notice on the door let us know that dogs are welcome and are allowed to sit in the back room of the cafe. The cafe was warm, cosy and friendly with doggy treats available for Willow and comfy sofas for the humans (paws must be kept on the floor!)

Everything the humans need to know

The Country Table Cafe is a great place to catch up with friends over breakfast, coffee and a cake or lunch. There is a fantastic range of breakfast and lunchtime options on the menu and cakes, scones and flapjacks to choose from at the counter – all marked for any dietary requirements. There are also separate gluten free, vegan and children’s menus available. The daily specials, cakes and bakes are freshly handmade on site using products from local suppliers. You can go for a stroll to walk off your breakfast at Bakers Park, just 5 minutes from the cafe. We had a lovely relaxed breakfast and Willow and I will definitely be back to The Country Table Cafe again.
